Transformation takes effort—but you don’t have to do it alone.

Resources and References (that have helped me)

Books

There have been many books that have been instrumental in fostering my emotional growth, self-improvement, and healing the parts of me that needed care to step into my highest self. Each one has offered profound insights, practical strategies, and fresh perspectives that have deeply shaped my journey. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking inspiration, guidance, and the tools to create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

Below are some of the most impactful books I've read so far. I'll continue updating this list as I discover new favorites. Some books have been so powerful that I’ll likely dedicate entire blog posts to them. These are just a few examples but I have plenty more to share!

podcasts

Fun fact: I haven’t always been a podcast person. I gave them a try years ago, but it never quite clicked. However, over the past year and a half, I’ve become an avid listener. In fact, I’ve even swapped out music for podcasts—a habit I never thought I’d adopt! The experience has been truly transformative. The amount of valuable insights and knowledge I’ve gained has been nothing short of incredible. I can’t recommend these podcasts enough—they’ve genuinely had a life-changing impact on me!

I primarily listen on Apple Podcasts, but you can find these on Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts.

Journaling

Journaling has been absolutely instrumental in my own healing and personal growth. It’s given me a space to process my emotions, reflect on my experiences, and gain clarity in ways I never expected. Through writing, I’ve been able to release feelings that were hard to express, recognize patterns in my behavior, and uncover deeper insights about myself. It’s a practice that helps me make sense of challenges, celebrate my progress, and track my evolution. Journaling has allowed me to cultivate self-awareness, practice mindfulness, and release stress. It’s become such a vital part of my journey—helping me grow, heal, and continuously move forward.

Therapy

I personally use BetterHelp, and I absolutely love it! (Just to clarify, I’m not affiliated with them, and I don’t receive anything from promoting BetterHelp). I’ve tried other therapy platforms, but BetterHelp has really stood out. Therapy is something everyone should prioritize—even when things are going well. I don’t go to therapy weekly because something’s 'wrong'—I do it because I see it as exercise for my mind. Just like you don’t work out only when something’s wrong with your body, you don’t wait for a mental health crisis to prioritize your well-being. Therapy is like the gym for your mental health—it’s about staying strong and healthy.

you grow through what you go through.
